Interview Response
Viewing the interview definitely had a lot of feelings. I couldn't imagine what those poor, innocent people went through. The experiments and the torture and the pain, and for no reason at all. The children were innocent and never did a thing wrong and for them to be killed at such a young age and have the rest of their life just taken away is just so heartbreaking. Those people who put their names on the suit cases thinking they were going to leave again and never getting them back. They save the memories of those who owned them. In the end the rich, the poor, and the famous were all one.

So true, Carla, it didn't matter who you were before arriving at the death camps. Once you arrived, you were all the same. This was made even more apparent with the shaving of the prisoner's heads.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you as well. It gets me wondering what they did with all of their belongings. Or if the one's who survived got them back. Or even had a chance to live a "normal" life afterwards..
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. The children were innocent and they didn't do anything wrong which is really heartbreaking to watch when they are so young like that.
